The CopperBots braved the storms across Michigan and made a run for Lake City Thursday night. It’s been a long couple of days, but we’re ready to compete.
Due to the storms, this competition’s schedule is going to be a little different. They’re trying to compress things a little so that teams can get out a little earlier on Sunday due to the incoming weather.

Here’s a link to the current schedule

The CopperBots were Selected as the first pick by the Alliance 5 Captains, Team 5534 – Onaway Onabots and are being joined by Team 10421 – Baldwin Coded Dragons.
The CopperBots and their team mates have been eliminated in the second match of the 4th round of the playoffs. A huge thanks to our team mates!
Next stop (when we can get home after the storm) is back to the shop to make improvements and repairs. Then off to Escanaba!
We were awarded the Judge’s Award !
“During the course of the competition, the judging panel may decide that a team’s unique efforts, performance, or dynamics merit recognition.
The judges didn’t have to dig too deep to find this gem. This resourceful team had a mastery of every facet of their robot. The Judges Award is given for “All Around Excellence”.
Congratulations Team 2586! “
